Tartan Day Parade

The Tartan Day Parade in NYC is always colorful and fun to watch. There’s a relatively low-key crowd and bagpipe music to listen to and enjoy on a beautiful day. Because of its relatively smaller size compared to other parades, it’s also easier find good spots for photographing the parade.

One tradition found at this parade are Scottish Terriers and West Highland White Terriers that walk the parade route with their owners–in tartan of course!

    Hi. I marched in the Tartan Day Parade with my Westies, Missy Paulette and Casey Jane. They are in the photo with the two Westies. Nice picture. Can I post it and the others on the MeetUp group “With Our Westies!” (WOW!) and give you credit and post a link to your blog?
