Friday July 26 marked the start of the annual NJ Festival of Ballooning. Held on a small airfield in north-central New Jersey, balloons of all shapes & sizes are there.
Early the first day the festival opens to the media and freelance photographers to view and photograph the balloons up close. A pre-sunrise drive from NYC and I captured some amazing balloon shapes on my camera, from Elvis, Humpty Dumpty, a bid elephant, to the biggest balloon there, a replica of the Space Shuttle. This last one was a sight to see being blown up.
I hope you enjoy the images.
